NPPB 2021

The 2021 National Parliamentary Prayer Breakfast was livestreamed from Westminster Hall on Friday 25 June. The event was chaired by The Rt Hon Dame Andrea Leadsom MP and was watched live by over 2,000 parliamentarians, church leaders and Christians from across the UK, with many more watching afterwards. Over 40 local constituency breakfasts took place across the country where MPs and local church leaders came together to watch the Breakfast.

The theme of this year’s breakfast was ‘Life Beyond Covid: A Renewed Hope’ and a keynote address on this topic was given by The Rt Revd Professor NT Wright. The programme also included prayers from parliamentarians, messages from the Speaker of the House of Commons and the Lord Speaker, reflection on what the Church has done in the last year, and two songs: ‘Living Hope’ led by Elle Limebear and Becca Folkes, and ‘We Seek Your Kingdom’ led by Noel Robinson, Lou Fellingham, Andy Flannagan and Donna Akodu.
