Join us for an inspiring conversation, as LICC CEO Paul Woolley leads a panel discussion with Nick Spencer, best-selling author and Senior Fellow at Theos, David Smith MP, UK Special Envoy for Freedom of Religion or Belief, and Rebecca Smith MP, Conservative Whip.

It’s not politics…it’s culture – OCCA
Whether discussing knife crime, migration, or online safety most of the public conversation concerns policy decisions and legal limits. It can seem that we’re trying to deal with the effects rather than the causes.
In this discussion, we will consider the ‘upstream’ cultural trends that have brought us to this point and give some signposts to how we might build towards a society of mutual flourishing.
Arise Africa – Stop the Violence; Start the Healing – Open Doors
Millions of Christians face violent persecution for their faith in sub-Saharan Africa, with many also forced to flee their homes. In response, the Church in Africa has called on Christians around the world to join them in the Arise Africa campaign, aiming to ensure that the global community acknowledges and acts against such extreme violence. It is part of Christian public witness to speak up for those who are persecuted. Attendees at the seminar will hear directly from Christians in sub-Saharan Africa on how to put an end to violence with impunity and allow healing and reconciliation to begin.
Faith in The Media: Building Trust, Sharing Hope. – Premier
Did you know that until 1990, Christian broadcasting was illegal in the UK? Five years later, Premier became the nation’s first Christian radio station. Now Christian media is an integral part of the lives of millions.
As we mark precisely 30-years of Christian broadcasting, join us as we explore:
- What impact Christian broadcasting has had on the UK
- What Christians think about how they are represented – and how they are served – by mainstream media
- How Christian broadcasting can help foster the common good
- How we can combat increasing faith illiteracy in mainstream media
At a time when public trust in the media is at a low-ebb and we see increasing polarisation in public discourse, how can Christians ensure there’s Faith in the Media?
Speaker: Kevin Bennett, Deputy CEO of Premier Christian Communications
How churches are working locally to help build a society where everyone can afford the essentials. – Trussell
Food banks in the Trussell community provide emergency food and support to people in their hardest moments. Churches are at the heart of this work tackling hunger and hardship, inspired by the call of the Prophet Micah to act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with God. Join Trussell, people with their own experiences of needing to turn to a food bank and local church leaders to hear about the important role churches are playing alongside food banks to offer practical support beyond emergency food and campaign for change so everyone can afford the essentials.
A tour of the Palace of Westminster – led by a Parliamentary Guide
